Work is on my mind a lot lately. I’m seeing think pieces about ’No OnE wAnTs To WoRk’ and ‘QuIeT qUiTtInG’, as though these things were something new. Paul Lafargue published ‘The Right to Be Lazy’ in 1883. Bertrand Russell released ‘In Praise of Idleness’ in 1932. Anti-work sentiment is not new.
